James M. LynchI became interested in coaching over a dozen years ago when I took a weekend seminar. My big 'aha' moment lasted for what seemed to be the whole year and the process had begun. I took every course, studied every book available and within a few months was part of a leadership and personal development company, managing the courses and facilities. Eventually I got my shot at the 'front of the room', training and leading portions of the courses under the tutelage of seminar leaders who had invented this whole field that we now call life coaching.

As Executive Director of the Humanus Institute I was involved with training hundreds. Soon I was recruited by a local company and I moved into the corporate world, coaching and managing a sales and recruiting team. It was a huge challenge, but we managed to grow the company by 500% in less than 9 years. Along the way I coached, trained and was in charge of cultural development; an area of corporate life that is often neglected.

I hired and managed dozens of coaches through the years and began 'hiring out' with another coach for seminars and trainings. Our in house trainings and cultural development reduced turnover, increased production and we continued to grow until we sold the company for a substantial profit. We had used the right tools the right way; empowerment, goal setting and coaching for possibity.

These are the tools I have assembled and tweaked, adopted and codified so that they can be available for anyone who is 'up to something' in their personal, business lives or just wants to deepen their experience of their daily life.

All of the materials on DIYLC are unique and original, including the Biggest Possible Future model, which takes you from where you are to wherever you want to be, step by step, in simple, plain language processes that produce lasting and enduring change. You'll also notice a bit of theatre in here; my original model was based on the parallel between a character in a play approaching their goal and what they'd do to get it, and I'll occasionally ask you if you are playing the 'star' in your own life, or playing the supporting role in someone else's.

DIYLC was created to use the internet, social media and all the power of viral marketing to take these trainings out to as many people as possible, regardless of whether they have the money for full-out coaching or the time to take on the seminars and workshops. Our ability to reach as many people as possible allows us to sell the trainings for very low prices to a greater number of people, across the internet and across the world.

We've enjoyed contact and compliments from other coaches around the world and from people who are looking to find their personal authority and power, looking to grow and thrive, people who are 'up to something' and who wind up here as part of their personal growth journey.

As part of Biggest Possible Future, LLC, our corporate home, we create tools for empowerment, on a human and personal level and through coaching and sharing online software. We're passionate and driven because we know that we can change the world for the better, one person at a time if we need to, but that's OK -- especially if that person is YOU.

How about joining us, taking a training, sharing a post or a comment, making a suggestion or doing what you can to change the world? We're happy to have you here.

Welcome and let's get up to something together,

James
